The challenge presented to us by an entity belonging to the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia was to upgrade the facility’s networking infrastructure, unified communications, mobility and security to a more advanced level. For Logicom, this meant finding the right distribution partner with the most suitable products, and assist in the upgrading process, from the presales and design phase, to product fulfillment.
Cisco was chosen as the distribution partner of choice for the implementation of the project due to the fact that they could supply all the solutions and components necessary for meeting the customer’s demands. These included the Cisco Nexus Data Center and a range of Security and Wireless products. As one of the major Cisco distributors in the region, Logicom engaged in all levels of the project, from the early levels to completion. Logicom’s Pre-sales teams were in direct contact with Cisco and the Reseller Engineers to assist with preparation and provide support, and multiple meetings were scheduled to ensure that each phase of the project was handled with the necessary care and attention.
The project was executed successfully and efficiently following Logicom’s procurement of the relevant products from Cisco and supplying them to the partner who then carried out deployment for the customer. Logicom was thus able to supply the customer with the solution it wanted, and the company once again proved its ability to handle and execute such large-scale projects such as this one.
